My housing market predictions for 2023
Say it quietly but I think the market is on the upturn and has certainly got busier over the last few days. We have seen a greater number of viewings being booked and some lovely new instructions coming to the market.
Now I’m not one for talking the market up too much and we are a long way away from the frantic market we have experienced during COVID times. I would say a bit of a slight downward price adjustment in the long run may not be a bad thing especially for this those trying desperately to get on to the market. So, what’s my prediction for the housing market in 2023? I do not think there will be a crash, a prediction shared with many in the industry. I do feel prices may drop throughout the year to around 10% by the end of 2023. If anything, I feel the market will be one with normal activity where sensible pricing of your property will be essential to create interest but the right properties at the right price will sell!
I am bound to say that in this market an experienced Estate Agent is essential and with more than 35 years in the job there is no one more experienced to guide you through the process of buying or selling your property.
